The French carmaker prepares big novelties for the 2021 Peugeot 3008, which is about to receive a facelift. This model receives the European Car of the Year Award three years ago and it the third best-selling compact crossover in the UK. For the next year, the company will introduce a number of interesting changes. We are about to see novelties in terms of the styling, but some reports also suggest changes on the inside.
On the other side, we don’t expect changes in terms of mechanics. The 2021 Peugeot 3008 will carry on with familiar engine options, while chassis tweaks are not expected either. We expect to see the new model in a couple of months.

2021 Peugeot 3008 Design Changes
As we’ve just mentioned, the new version will come with notable styling changes. As you may presume, the focus will be on the front end. At this point, we don’t know the details but we may presume that a lot of inspiration will be taken from the 508 sedan. This particularly refers to the recognizable lighting groups, which will make this crossover look far more upscale. Of course, we count on tweaks in other areas as well. Of course, the rear end should also come with a tweaked bumper, exhaust pipes and similar things. Naturally, this facelift will also bring things like new color options, wheels etc.
On the other side, the mechanical aspect of the crossover is about to remain untouched. The 2021 Peugeot 3008 will continue on the company’s familiar EMP2 platform, which undeprints loads of PSA models. The strongest point of this crossover is a pretty soft suspension setup, though the handling is quite decent as well. With over 105 inches in wheelbase, it accommodates adults in both rows with ease.
Interior
Despite the rumors, bigger changes probably won’t come on the inside. The current dashboard already looks impressive, with loads of futuristic details. Of course, we are talking about the recognizable steering wheel, digital instrument cluster, premium-looking center console etc. However, the cabin looks more luxurious than it actually is, so if we are about to see some changes for the next year those would be changes in terms of new, finer materials and similar things. Also, these updates will probably bring additions to the list of standard equipment, both in terms of tech and safety features. The overall cabin layout will remain pretty much the same, with the same amount of legroom and cargo space.

2021 Peugeot 3008 Engine
When it comes to the engine lineup, the latest reports suggest we probably won’t see ay particular change for the next year. Therefore, the 2021 Peugeot 3008 should carry on with a plethora of engine options in the offer. There are two gasoline engine options. The base one comes equipped with a 1.2-liter engine that delivers 130 horsepower, while the optional 1.6-liter unit is good for about 165 horsepower. Finally, there is a new 1.6-liter Puretech gasoline unit with 180 horses.
Still, most European drivers still prefer diesel engines. The offer of oil-burners starts with a 1.6-liter HDI that delivers just 100 horsepower. The same engine is available in a version with 120 horsepower. Of course, you may also count on a 2.0-liter turbodiesel, which also comes in two output variants, with either 150 or 180 horsepower.

2021 Peugeot 3008 Release Date and Price
We expect to see 2021 Peugeot 3008 sometime in a couple of months. When it comes to the price, base models should go around 26.000 GBP, while the price tag in Europe goes slightly under 30.000 Euro. Key competitors are models like Nissan Qashqai, Seat Arona etc.
