The current generation of Audi’s mid-size crossover has been around since 2015 and it is among the oldest models in the class. However, it still competes very well in the demanding market and looks fresh in many aspects. That’s why the Ingolstadt company doesn’t rush with the redesign. According to the latest reports, we will have to wait for some more time to see a complete overhaul. This also indicates that the 2023 Audi Q7 will come without more important updates.
So, we expect that the next year’s model will bring familiar characteristics. What we really like about the Q7 is the interior design, which looks stylish and comes with plenty of tech features. Furthermore, the ride is smooth as butter, while there are some pretty capable powertrain options on offer. On the other hand, the biggest complaints go to the small cargo area and tight third row.
As there will be no bigger changes for the next year, we expect that the 2023 Audi Q7 will hit the market sometime in the last quarter of the year.

2023 Audi Q7 Design
As we’ve just mentioned, the current generation of this mid-size crossover should remain for some more time. The 2023 Audi Q7 should continue in the same way, with a design that hasn’t changed much since the initial launch. Still, keep in mind the 2020 update, which has brought a new face, along with other styling details. All in all, the best we could see for the next year are minor tweaks like new color options, while a new appearance package doesn’t sound unlikely either.
On the other hand, the mechanical aspect of the vehicle will certainly remain the same. The current generation rides on a good-old MLB platform and comes standard with air suspension. As a result, the ride is super smooth and provides excellent comfort. At the same time, the level of athleticism is at a decent level too.
Interior
The cabin design is arguably one of the strongest points of this crossover. The dashboard features a conservative but stylish design, which high-quality materials and excellent build quality. Furthermore, there is a full load of tech features, which makes the cabin look even more upscale. This crossover also offers excellent sound insulation.

When it comes to the passenger space, the front seats are very massive and roomy, with pretty good side support. Also, there are tons of adjustability options, which make finding a good driving position super easy. The second row is spacious and accommodates adults with ease. On the other hand, we can’t say the same thing for the third row. It is tight and accommodates kids only.
The cargo area is one of the weak spots. You may count on about 14.2 cubic feet of space behind the third row, 35.7 cubic feet behind the second, and 69.6 cubic feet of the total cargo volume, which is way below segment average ratings.
Features
Yearly updates are mostly about additions to the standard equipment, so the 2023 Audi Q7 could come with some of them too. However, most of the things will remain the same as in the current model, which means that you may count on a long list of standard features. It should include goodies like a 10.1-inch upper touch screen, an 8.6-inch lower touch screen, Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, Audi’s Virtual Cockpit, navigation, Bluetooth, USB ports, a Wi-Fi hot spot, satellite radio, HD Radio, 10-speaker stereo, push-button start, proximity keyless entry, a panoramic sunroof, and tri-zone automatic climate control. Among upgrades, expect to find quad-zone climate control, wireless device charging, a 19-speaker Bose stereo, and a 23-speaker Bang & Olufsen sound system.
When it comes to safety, all models should come standard with a rearview camera, parking sensors, forward collision warning, pedestrian detection, automatic emergency braking, lane departure warning, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, automatic high beams, and more.
2023 Audi Q7 Engines
The 2023 Audi Q7 will carry on with familiar powertrain options on the offer. So, base versions will continue to use a 2.0-liter turbo-four with 248 horsepower and 273 pound-feet of torque. For those who are looking for something smoother and more capable, the optional 3.0-liter V6 might be a perfect measure. This engine puts out around 335 horsepower. Finally, there is the SQ5 model, which comes with a 4.0-liter V8 that puts out around 500 horsepower and 568 pound-feet of torque.
All three engines come in pair with 8-speed automatic transmission, while Audi’s well-known Quattro all-wheel-drive system is standard.

2023 Audi Q7 Release Date and Price
We expect that the 2023 Audi Q7 will hit the market sometime in the last quarter of the year. Base models should go around 58.000 dollars, while models like BMW X5, Mercedes-Benz GLE and Volvo XC90 are among the key competitors.
