Hyundai’s largest SUV in the lineup has been around for a while and it already established itself as one of the best models in the class. The sales numbers are good, while comparison tests show that the Palisade is better than rivals in many aspects. However, the Korean manufacturer won’t stop on that and the latest reports suggest that the 2023 Hyundai Palisade will receive a facelift. The officials are still quiet but if we consider that this will be the fourth production year, it’s easy to conclude that this is a quite likely scenario.
From this update, we expect to see mostly visual changes. The first thing that comes to mind is the front face, but other areas of the vehicle could come with novelties as well. Of course, the new model could bring more standard and available features as well, while some sources also speculate about the possible electrified version.
We expect that the 2023 Hyundai Palisade will hit the market sometime in the second half of 2022.

2023 Hyundai Palisade Design
When it comes to base design characteristics, we don’t expect changes. The current model is still pretty fresh regarding mechanics and we are pretty sure that this aspect won’t bring changes until the complete redesign. We particularly like the ride quality, which is relaxed and all about comfort. The Palisade is easy to drive and we don’t mind its lack of athleticism at all.
On the other hand, this update will probably be a typical facelift. Therefore, we expect to see styling changes, particularly at the front. We can already find rendering photos that show a new front end, with the same grille and headlights as on the new Tucson. Other areas of the vehicle could come with novelties as well, while we are almost certain that the 2023 Hyundai Palisade will come with updates in terms of new color options and wheels.
Interior
We don’t believe that the 2023 Hyundai Palisade could bring too many changes on the inside. Simply, the current cabin already looks really nice, whether it’s about aesthetics or quality. The current model looks really upscale, with nice materials and attractive aesthetics. Also, there are several tech goodies that make the cabin look even more upscale. The overall build quality is pretty impressive, on par with class leaders such as Mazda CX-9 and Buick Enclave.

Of course, the overall layout will remain the same and you may count on the same amount of interior space. This is a typical mid-size three-row crossover, which comes standard with three rows of seats and accommodates up to eight passengers. The first two rows are very spacious and comfortable, while the third one is also quite useful.
When it comes to the cargo area, you may count on about 18 cubic feet of space behind its third-row seats, 45.8 cubic feet with these seats folded, and a total of 86.4 cubic feet in total, which is above-average for the class.
Features
Naturally, the 2023 Hyundai Palisade should bring novelties regarding the standard and available equipment. However, the current model already stands pretty well in this aspect, so we probably won’t see too many updates. For reference, the 2022 model comes with goodies like an 8-inch touch screen, HD Radio, Bluetooth, five USB ports, and wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Among upgrades, you can find things like a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, a 10.25-inch touch screen, navigation, a 12-speaker Harman Kardon stereo, satellite radio, additional USB ports, wireless device charging, a sunroof, dual sunroofs, dual-zone automatic climate control, an intercom, push-button start etc. We presume that some of these things will become part of the standard equipment next year.
The same thing goes with safety features. The current model comes standard with a rearview camera, rear parking sensors, forward collision warning, pedestrian detection, automatic emergency braking, adaptive cruise control, rear cross-traffic alert and more.
2023 Hyundai Palisade Engines
Under the hood, the 2023 Hyundai Palisade will continue with the same 3.8-liter V6, which puts out around 291 horsepower and comes in pair with a smooth-shifting 8-speed automatic transmission. The overall performance is pretty good, while the average fuel economy is quite typical for the class. You may count on about 20 mpg in the city and 27 mpg on the highway.
Some sources also speculate about a hybrid version of the SUV. If that happens, we presume that the system would be similar to the one found in the smaller Santa Fe, but based on a more capable 2.5-liter turbo engine. More details should come soon.

2023 Hyundai Palisade Release Date and Price
We expect that the 2023 Hyundai Palisade will hit the market sometime in the second half of 2022. The starting price, should go around 34.000 dollars, while the key competitors will be models like Honda Pilot, Chevy Traverse etc.
