The popular small crossover has been riding around for about five years. We saw a facelift last year, which has brought a lot of interesting changes, in various aspects. Some of them refer to visual updates, some to interior novelties, but there is also a fine number of new technologies. Given all the changes, we are pretty sure that the 2020 Porsche Macan will probably come without more important changes. It will continue with a familiar layout. Still, some reports suggest novelties under the hood, as the new version of the Macan S is about to come. It will come with a revised engine, with more power and better performances. Rest of the lineup is about to continue in the same way. Despite the new Macan S version, we expect all models to arrive sometime late in the year.

2020 Porsche Macan Redesign
In terms of base design characteristics, the 2020 Porsche Macan will definitely continue in the same way. The recent update has brought a lot of novelties, so we are pretty sure that the current generation will continue in the same way for another couple of years. Therefore, be sure that the 2020 Porsche Macan will feature all the novelties that came last year when we saw a fine portion of styling updates. Interestingly, the most drastic changes were at the rear end. Facelifts are usually mostly about changes at the front, while the biggest novelty in the Macan was the new light bar on the tailgate. Of course, there were changes at the front end, and all of them were inspired by the newest version of the iconic 911.
Besides lots of visual updates, this update also brought some interesting mechanical novelties. The company did a couple of tweaks on the suspension setup, so the new model handles even better.

Given all the changes that came last year, we are pretty sure that the 2020 Porsche Macan will continue in the same way.
2020 Porsche Macan Interior
The recent update has also brought a bunch of novelties on the inside. The first thing you’ll notice is a new 11-inch touchscreen, which dominates the dashboard that mostly features old-school analog controls. Besides new visual elements, there is a fine amount of new tech goodies. Some of the highlights are things like live traffic, intelligent voice controls, Here Cloud etc.
Despite numerous updates, the cabin of this compact crossover remained essentially the same. The fancy cabin also features high overall quality, while the overall interior space is typical for the segment. Fronts seats are massive and supportive, with plenty of room. On the other side, rear seats are a little bit tighter, though most adults will find it comfortable enough. On the other side, the cargo area is smaller compared to most rivals.

Features
The 2020 Porsche Macan should continue with the pretty much same list of standard equipment. A smaller reorganization is expected, but the core will remain unchanged. Therefore, base models will feature tech goodies like 7-inch touch screen, two USB ports, Bluetooth, satellite radio etc. Higher trims can add things like Apple CarPlay, navigation, Wi-Fi hot spot, premium audio systems, a rear-seat entertainment system etc. Unfortunately, Android Auto is unavailable.
When it comes to safety features, all models are equipped with things like rearview camera, parking sensors and lane departure warning. Available safety features are adaptive cruise control, dynamic headlights, a surround-view camera, lane keep assist, lane change assist etc.
2020 Porsche Macan Engines
The biggest novelty will be an updated 2020 Porsche Macan S. This version will come with an updated 3.0-liter V6 engine, which will now feature 354 horsepower and 354 pound-feet of torque.

The rest of the engine lineup is expected to remain the same. Base models will feature a familiar 2.0-liter turbo-four, which delivers around 250 horsepower. The next in the line is the Macan S which, as we’ve just mentioned, comes with a revised 3.0-liter V6 engine. The Macan GTS features a twin-turbo version of this engine. Finally, there is a 3.6-liter V6 engine, which powers the Macan Turbo. It delivers 395 horsepower and 406 pound-feet of torque. With the Performance package, this engine gets a slight boost, so a max output goes around 435 horsepower and 445 pound-feet of torque.
2020 Porsche Macan Release Date and Price
Considering that we won’t see more important changes for the next year, the 2020 Porsche Macan is about to come sometime late in the year. We don’t expect to see changes in the price either. Base models should go around 48.000 dollars, while top-range models could go up to 90.000. Competition in the segment is pretty tough. The Macan might be more expensive than most rivals, but it definitely delivers the best driving experience in the class. Some of the notable competitors are models like BMW X4, Alfa Romeo Stelvio, Jaguar F-Pace etc.
