The last year’s refresh has brought a lot of interesting novelties and the company’s flagship crossover is now more competitive than ever. So, it’s quite easy to conclude that the 2023 Buick Enclave, which will represent the sixth production year of the generation, will come without more important updates. We expect to see a familiar design, though there is always a chance for minor updates, such as new color options, more standard features and similar things.
You may count on a familiar SUV design, which still has some pretty nice things to offer. This is one of the biggest mid-size crossovers around, which offers plenty of passenger and cargo space. Furthermore, we like the ride, which is smooth and comfortable, while the V6 engine is smooth and pretty capable. On the other hand, the biggest complaint goes to the interior quality, which could have been better. Also, most rivals are more fun to drive.
Since there are no significant changes to come, we presume that the 2023 Buick Enclave will hit the market sometime in the last quarter of the year.

2023 Buick Enclave Design
As we’ve just mentioned, the recent refresh has brought a lot of novelties, so we have no doubt that the 2023 Buick Enclave will be a typical carryover model. We will see the same styling, which was updated with new headlights, a more prominent grille, new bumpers and many other new details. Logically, the most the next year’s model could bring are minor updates like new color options.
The mechanical aspect of the vehicle will certainly remain the same. We are about to see a familiar layout, based on GM’s familiar C1 platform, the same one that underpins Chevy Traverse. Logically, the Enclave comes standard with front-wheel drive, while AWD will be available too. The ride is smooth and comfortable, but the lack of athleticism comes as a big trade-off.
Interior
On the inside, things are also about to remain the same. We are about to see a layout that has been updated just slightly last year, with some new materials, color schemes and, most importantly, a revised center console, with a new push-button gear shifter.
This SUV looks nice from the inside. Still, we have to say that every premium player in the segment looks way better, while even some mainstream competitors like Mazda CX-9 and Hyundai Palisade.

On the other hand, the amount of cabin space is where this SUV really dominates. With nearly 121 inches in wheelbase, the 2023 Buick Enclave will continue to offer three spacious rows of seats, along with an impressive cargo volume that goes around 23.6 cubic feet of cargo space behind its third row, 57.7 cubic feet with the third row folded, and 97.4 cubic feet with the second and third rows folded.
Features
Yearly updates can bring certain novelties in this aspect but we believe that they won’t be numerous in the case of the 2023 Buick Enclave. Most things will rather remain the same as in the current model. For reference, the current model comes standard with things like tri-zone climate control, keyless entry, remote start, an 8-inch touch screen, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, wireless device charging, HD Radio, satellite radio, a six-speaker stereo, Bluetooth, six USB ports, and a Wi-Fi hot spot. The current list of options currently includes goodies like a panoramic sunroof, an 8-inch digital instrument cluster, navigation, and a 10-speaker stereo.
When it comes to safety features, base models come with goodies like a rearview camera, front and rear parking sensors, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking, pedestrian detection, automatic high beams, lane departure warning, lane keep assist etc. Among options, you can find a rearview mirror with integrated camera, head-up display, surround-view camera, adaptive cruise control etc.
2023 Buick Enclave Engine
This aspect definitely won’t bring changes. The 2023 Buick Enclave will continue with a good-old 3.6-liter V6, which puts out around 310 horsepower. The engine is smooth and offers plenty of power for a convenient ride. It comes in pair with a smooth-shifting 9-speed automatic transmission and the whole system works very well.
Besides good performance and refinement, this setup also offers decent fuel economy. It goes around 19 mpg in the city and 26 mpg on the highway. Those are typical ratings for a mid-size SUV.

2023 Buick Enclave Release Date and Price
We expect that, since there are no changes to come, the 2023 Buick Enclave will hit the market sometime in the last quarter of the year. The base price should go around 43.000 dollars.
